Major Incident Medical Management and Support: The practical approach in the hospital setting (HMIMMS) education programme Course 2023 is organized by Advanced Life Support Group (ALSG) and will be held from Jan 28 - 29, 2023 at Peterborough, England, United Kingdom.

Objectives including:
• The nature and frequency of major incidents, and the need for appropriate management and response planning.
• Be able to understand and implement the seven principles outlined in the CSCATTT approach for successfully managing a major event.
• Recognize the importance of major incident training. This will allow you to focus on the aspects of the plan that are not used in daily practice (e.g. command, control, communication and triage).
• Ability to provide the necessary medical support for major incidents within a hospital setting by using the concept called 'collapsible hierarchy.
