International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE) 2023 Mid-year Meeting is organized by International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE) and will be held from Apr 23 - 25, 2023 at Hilton Reykjavik Nordica, Reykjavik, Reykjavikurborg, Iceland.
Theme: "RWD Pandemonium During a Pandemic: Lessons for Future RWE Generation and Decision Making?"
Description:
Following two years of COVID-focused research agenda that includes evaluating the safety and effects of (preventive) treatments and treatments, we'd like to look not just back but also forward, focusing on the results generated in this time. Although it is not a new phenomenon to ISPE members, the pandemic raised general awareness. It made clear how crucial actual evidence is to make decisions across all levels of society.
Now it is time to start the conversation about what the pandemic means to us pharmacoepidemiologists when it concerns data we use for decision-making. The program committee has been working to develop a multi-disciplinary scientific program that will examine the subject of decision-making and data from various viewpoints.
The mid-year meeting continues to be the ISPE event, where we focus on the next generation of pharmacoepidemiologists. It's a unique chance for recent graduates and students to present their work and interact with experts in the field. As part of our programme, we've scheduled four sessions for recent and student presentations this year, allowing 24 researchers in the early stages of their careers to present their research.
Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
