Educational Objectives:
• Improve performance and interpretation of brain, breast, thoracic, and abdominal imaging studies.
• Recognize the uses and limitations of CT and MRI for various body applications and organ systems.
• Recognize the appearance of tumors and/or traumatic injury of the prostate, breast, lung, and intra-abdominal organs.
• Understand the techniques used to perform and interpret CT and MRI of the brain, spine, bones, and joints.
• State the clinical indications and optimal approach for a radiological approach to emergency imaging evaluation of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis.
• Understand the techniques used to perform and interpret mammography, ultrasound, and MRI of the breasts.
• State the clinical indications and optimal approach for a radiological approach to emergency imaging evaluation of the brain, chest, and abdomen.
• Recognize the appearance of tumors in the pelvis.
