Description of needs:
Ethics is a central part of health care. According to Swedish and international legislation and the codex, the professions of doctors and healthcare personnel must be carried out from an ethical and professional approach. Medical competence and experience are the basis for the professional activities of a doctor and other professional categories, but must also be based on universal ethical principles and values. Practicing one's profession in a satisfactory manner also requires knowledge of legislation and guidelines - which you need to have knowledge and understanding of so that you can provide care and handle each patient based on the right conditions.

Overall goals:
The overall aim of the course is to provide knowledge and skills in ethics, ethical analysis, and relevant legislation for healthcare and for the individual participant's specialty.
