Diagnostic Soft Tissue Pathology

Diagnostic Soft Tissue Pathology is organized by Vincent Academy of Pathology (VAP) and will be held from Jun 28 - 30, 2023 at Lentos Art Museum Linz, Linz, Upper Austria, Austria.

Course Objectives:
The course is geared toward general surgical pathologists and trainee pathologists interested in soft tissue pathology. The course aims to give participants an in-depth study and an up-to-date examination of various aspects of soft tissue pathology. The lectures will focus on lipomatous tumours, myxoid soft tissue tumours, mesenchymal tumours of the skin and the GI tract, and immunohistochemistry and molecular pathology in the diagnosis of soft tissue cancers. Additionally, immunohistochemistry and molecular pathology will be covered in the diagnosis of soft tissue tumours. In addition, the clinical features will be reviewed, and both the surgical and medicinal therapies of soft tissue tumours will be provided as examples of insights.

Four weeks before the course begins and four weeks after it concludes, the participants can go over digitized cases using virtual microscopes. An interactive methodology will be utilized throughout the course to facilitate an in-depth discussion of the cases.
