86^th Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) of the Canadian Association of Radiologists (CAR) is organized by The Canadian Association of Radiologists (CAR) / L'Association canadienne des radiologistes and will be held from Apr 27 - 30, 2023 at Le Westin Montreal, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Description:
The program for this year, conceived through CAR 2023's Planning Committee CAR 2023 Scientific Meeting Planning Committee, focuses on the role of technology as a key component in the development of imaging-related care.

This year's conference will provide sessions relevant to various areas of expertise and practice environments. CAR 2023 is a dynamic educational lecture and interactive Q&A discussion with the presenters. There will also be opportunities to socialize and network with colleagues. Presenters from all over North America will come together to deliver engaging plenary lectures with presentations by Dr. Jan Fritz (New York University), Dr. Jeremy Erasmus (University of Texas), Dr. Jorge Soto (Boston Medical Centre), Dr. Carlos Torres (University of Ottawa), and Dr. Yiming Gao (AIRP).

The Four Affiliate Societies are collaborating on great educational programs that focus on cardiovascular-thoracic radiology (CSTR), abdominal radiology (CSAR), emergency and trauma radiology (CETARS), and pediatric radiology (CanSPR). This program will include two interactive, hands-on workshops, one focusing specifically on MSK Ultrasound and one on advanced structured reporting. A popular request is the dedicated virtual Trainee Day, where medical students, residents, fellows, and residents can participate in a full day of lectures and sessions designed to meet their needs in the field of education.
