Bootcamp: Interpretation of genetic variants for cardiologists is organized by Act Serveis / Acto Serveis, Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute: Bioheart Group – Malalties Cardiovasculars / Institut d’investigacio biomedica de Bellvitge: Grupo Bioheart – Malalties Cardiovasculars (IDIBELL) , Health in Code and will be held from Dec 15 - 16, 2023 at Campus Ciencias de la Salud de Bellvitge UB, Carrer de la Feixa Llarga, s/n, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.

Description:
The objective of the course is to teach the participants the basic principles of the process of clinical interpretation of genetic variants in the main hereditary cardiological diseases in a boot camp format that includes the integration of theoretical content with direct application to clinical cases.

The course is especially aimed at cardiologists who are being trained in Familial Heart Disease or those who, despite having experience in the clinical management of these patients, want to deepen their knowledge of cardiovascular genetics.

At the end of the course you will be able to understand in detail a genetic study report on cardiovascular diseases and integrate the results with the clinical management of the families that you follow in the consultation.
