Basic to Advance Obstetrics & Gynecology Ultrasound is organized by Lifeway Training Center and will be held from Feb 17 - 18, 2023 at Sharjah Palace Hotel, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

Description:
This course will be taught by Dr. Musarat Hasan, a renowned Ultrasound tutor, and Dr. Reeta. It focuses on teaching all the Basic and Advanced Principles of Ultrasound and its crucial role in Obstetrics & Gynecology clinical application.

This article will discuss the basics of the Ultrasound machine, its knobology, and the various aspects of the controls. It will also talk about how the machine can be used to optimize and align an image. Demonstrating how to use each type of transducer and its movements.

The first-trimester ultrasound assessment, biometric measurements taken during early pregnancy, the criteria, and Down Syndrome screening. Understanding the role of ultrasound and its findings for Ectopic Pregnancy.

The following day will be devoted to the Principle use of transvaginal ultrasound in gynecology, Ultrasound application in the obstetric and fetal anomaly assessment, and fetal growth assessment. Identify the right imaging plans, take appropriate biometric measurements for BPD (Body Circumference), Head Circumference and Abdominal Circumference, and Femoral Length, and calculate estimated Fetal Weight.

This includes advanced knowledge of the identification and location of the Placenta, Amniotic Fluid Assessment, and screening for Down syndrome.

Day-1
• The nuts and bolts of Ultrasound Machines, including all switches and knobs. How to operate them (practical and theoretical).
• Early Pregnancy Assessment-yolk Sac, gestation sac crown, and rump measurements
• Vaginal bleeding and other types of pregnancy failure

Day-2:
• Multiple Pregnancies
• How to measure the BPD correctly
• Fetal Growth Assessment: Head Circumference, Abdominal circumference, and Femoral length
• Screening for Down Syndrome, Prevalence of Nasal Bone, Measurements of Nuchal Translucency
• Role of TVS for Gyne UltraSound
