Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver (APASL) 2023 Annual Meeting is organized by the Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver (APASL) and will be held from Feb 15 - 19, 2023 at Taipei International Convention Center (TICC), Taipei, Taipei, Taiwan.

Description:
The theme of APASL 2023 is “Innovation and Paradigm Shift in Hepatology”. Over the past decades, our cumulative knowledge has made dramatic progress in the field of hepatology, changing various treatment concepts in liver diseases. Such progress includes the use of direct anti-viral agents in the treatment of hepatitis C, various systemic therapeutic agents in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma, the use of artificial intelligence to support the diagnosis of liver diseases, etc. To build on our collective commitment to making continuing progress in this field, APASL is organizing a comprehensive scientific program including state-of-the-art lectures, symposiums, workshops, etc. Our goal is to bring together renowned investigators from all over the world to share their latest research findings and knowledge on current hepatology.

As you all know, the COVID-19 pandemic has created a significant impact on how conferences are held. Due to the continued uncertainty of the pandemic and related travel restrictions, APASL 2023 will be held in a hybrid format. For those who may not be able to attend in person, the hybrid format of the conference provides an online forum for all of us to continue our fruitful discussion of the various scientific programs. For those who can attend in person, I hope you will also enjoy the beautiful landscape and delicious local cuisines that the host city of Taipei offers.

The organizing committee believes that APASL 2023 will bring you the most comprehensive knowledge in both fundamental and clinical science in the field of hepatology.
