American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM) 77th Annual Meeting is organized by American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM) and will be held from Sep 10 - 13, 2023 at Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile, Chicago, Illinois, United States of America.

Purpose:
The educational program of the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM) is designed to provide targeted opportunities for the dissemination of information in the basic sciences, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and technical advances as applied to persons with childhood-onset disabilities. The program provides a forum for discussion of scientific developments and clinical advances in the care of people with these conditions. By presenting forums that foster interdisciplinary communication and interchange among all allied health care professionals concerned with individuals with cerebral palsy and neurodevelopmental disorders, this program’s purpose is to ensure that the qualified personnel has the skills and knowledge derived from practices that have been determined through research and experience to be successful in serving children with disabilities. The purpose is also to encourage teambuilding within organizations and institutions, encourage multicenter studies, develop information for parents, and find a consensus on the optimal care of various conditions.

Objectives:
To disseminate information on new developments in applied and translational sciences, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and technology for individuals with cerebral palsy and other childhood-onset disabilities. Specifically:
• Participants will increase awareness of new and emerging treatments for individuals with cerebral palsy and other developmental disabilities.
• Participants will be able to identify new modalities for the diagnosis of cerebral palsy and developmental disabilities.
• Participants will increase interprofessional collaboration to help coordinate and improve services across the continuum of care for individuals with cerebral palsy and developmental disabilities across the lifespan
