ACLS:
 
• Designed for medical professionals who either direct or participate in managing cardiac arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies and for employees working in emergency response roles.

What does this course teach?
• Basic life-saving abilities, which include efficient chest compressions, the using bag-mask devices, and the use of an AED
• Early recognition and treatment of cardiac and respiratory arrest
• Recognition and early treatment of peri-arrest disorders such as bradycardia that is symptomatic
• Airway management
• Related to pharmacology
• Treatment of stroke and ACS
• Effective communication when an individual or leader in a team is for resuscitation.
