6th Southern African HIV Clinicians Society (SAHCS) Biennial Conference is organized by Southern African HIV Clinicians Society (SAHCS) and will be held from Nov 08 - 10, 2023 at Century City Conference Centre, Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa.

The three-day programme, presented by outstanding nationally and internationally renowned speakers, will include plenary sessions, live Q&A sessions and workshops to take your HIV knowledge to the next level. Our inclusive programme includes a range of topics from new treatment approaches to advanced HIV care focusing on both medical comorbidities and opportunistic infections.

SAHCS promotes evidence-based HIV management and supports and strengthens the capacity of members to deliver high-quality HIV prevention, care, and treatment services. South African healthcare workers commonly work under difficult conditions, are often overworked and have limited resources, yet they shoulder the burden of the biggest HIV treatment programme in the world with dignity and compassion.

The SAHCS conference is a platform for colleagues nationwide to sharpen their skills and knowledge in HIV prevention and management. The conference is also a platform for scientists, researchers, policymakers, community-based organisations, and other stakeholders to share knowledge and learn from one another. Networking and collaborating remain fundamental to the ethos of our conference; allowing connections and knowledge to be strengthened throughout the country and beyond.
