57th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Head and Neck Radiology (ASHNR) is organized by American Society of Head and Neck Radiology (ASHNR) and will be held from Sep 20 - 24, 2023 at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, Orlando, Florida, United States of America.
Educational Objectives:
Attendees should, at the completion of this meeting, be able to:
• Recognize normal anatomy, developmental anomalies and various disease processes of the extracranial head and neck spaces, orbits and paranasal sinuses, anterior and central skull base, the temporal bone and cranial nerves.
• Learn about the imaging planning and post-operative appearances of surgical approaches for treatment of disease in the temporal bone, skull base and paranasal sinuses.
• Learn about infectious and inflammatory conditions of the head and neck.
• Recognize the imaging appearance of neoplasms involving the skull base, orbits, and jaws and learn about different approaches to biopsy in the head and neck.
• Be familiar with the current staging of head and neck cancer, imaging planning for robotic surgery in head and neck cancer, the optimal use of modalities for head and neck cancer, and learn the tips and tricks of post op neck imaging.
• Learn about pediatric neck masses, the role of CT versus MRI in pediatric head and neck imaging and review pediatric HN emergencies.
• Learn the pearls and pitfalls of imaging of the glands.
• Learn how senior members of the ASHNR approach complex and difficult cases.
• Discuss the state-of-the-art imaging of the head and neck with a focus on technological advancements and utility of advanced imaging techniques.
• Review advances in molecular imaging of the head and neck, molecular markers, imaging manifestation of genetic mutations, immunotherapy and treatment response, and neuroinvasiveness.
• Learn the key features of trauma imaging, post-traumatic reconstruction, post-operative complications, and neck and vascular emergencies.
