The SICP National Congress is the only official national meeting aimed at members of the Society but also at all those who are interested in this matter.

It is dedicated to the dissemination and review of the etiopathogenesis, diagnosis and new methods of therapeutic treatment of the most frequently encountered pathologies in Pediatric Surgery and is aimed at all experts working in this field, such as pediatric surgeons, paediatricians, general surgeons and pediatric nurses.

The congress will be divided into modules focused on the most important elements of pediatric clinical and surgical practice such as neonatal, abdominal, oncological, urological and congenital malformation surgery. Particular attention will be paid to the diagnostic workup, differential diagnosis, considerations on treatment with urgency-emergency protocols and complications.

The congress foresees the development of about 24 hours of activities, divided into five round tables alternating with communication sessions on topics of surgical-pediatric interest, necessary for the deepening of the pathologies.
