44th Malaysian Paediatric Association Annual Congress is organized by Malaysian Paediatric Association (MPA), Event Solution Management Sdn. Bhd and will be held from Oct 12 - 14, 2023 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Description:
The 44th MPA Annual Congress will be more of a local event after two years of organising international conferences (hybrid). The theme for this congress is “ Hearts, Lungs and Minds”, which came about after months of deliberation that we need to include an often forgotten part of our daily practice; mental health and related issues. Childhood mental health is something that we need to address now before it is too late. To make it more interesting, we added essential topics related to cardiorespiratory diseases of children and voila, we have our congress theme. This year’s theme is even more important as we are just emerging from the Covid-19 pandemic.

This year’s congress lectures are planned to cater to the needs of our general paediatricians, family medicine specialists, general practitioners, medical officers and allied healthcare providers. As per our tradition, we have exciting and interactive pre-congress workshops ranging from hands-on echocardiography, autism, suicide prevention and a special workshop on respiratory care just for nurses. We also have plenary sessions and three symposia tracks and Meet-the-Expert sessions, dedicated to cardiovascular, respiratory, mental health and development. All our topics will address the latest and relevant developments by brilliant local experts and a few invited overseas speakers.
