39th Intercollegiate Basic Surgical Skills Course (RCS)

39th Intercollegiate Basic Surgical Skills Course (RCS) is organized by Sharjah Surgical Institute (SSI) and will be held from May 24 - 25, 2023 at University of Sharjah - Medical and Health Sciences College Campus, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

Course Objective:
This two-day course has been designed to introduce Surgical trainees to safe surgical practice within a controlled work shop environment and it aims to teach, assess and certify the ability of trainees to use safe and sound surgical techniques that are common to all forms of surgery.

Content
The course consists of three main areas: 
• Open surgery 
• Trauma and Orthopedics 
• Minimal access surgery
