2nd International Tremor Congress is organized by Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons (VP&S) and will be held from May 18 - 19, 2023 at The New York Academy of Medicine, New York City, New York, United States of America.
Description
The Movement Disorders Division will conduct the 2nd International Tremor Congress within the Department of Neurology of Columbia University's Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. The event will provide a comprehensive discussion of advances in the diagnosis, treatment and science of tremors and their science. This meeting fulfils an important demand for an all-encompassing academic educational programme that offers the most recent information on innovations, insights on the most recent scientific findings, and the translation of the scientific findings to patient care. Because the patient response to conventional treatments for tremors is often variable, the conference is consistent with the national call of the Precision Medicine Initiative for healthcare providers to pursue new approaches that tailor treatment to the individual patient's characteristics. As a result, education on new surgical and medical advancements that account for individual differences can optimise outcomes for patients with tremors. In addition, having a grasp of the variety of tremor diseases can assist in the planning and execution of rigorous clinical studies, which will speed up the process of developing treatments.
Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
