23rd Triennial Meeting of the International Association of Forensic Sciences In conjunction with the 26th Symposium of the Australian and New Zealand Forensic Science Society

Description:
The program will strategically cover critical issues to identify possible solutions for stronger and more reliable forensic science and medicine in the future. We will reach out across the medical, scientific, legal, and policing communities, including those in emerging nations, to share data and information, best practice,s and expand education and research. Our objective is to ensure IAFS 2023 is the focal point for anyone involved or interested in making the world safer and fairer with science and medicine.

The Meeting theme is ‘where to from here?’. The theme asks the forensic science community to review contemporary practices and consider strategies to improve operational contributions and effectiveness in the light of both current and future challenges.

Objectives :
•  Continued development of forensic sciences
•  Assist forensic scientists and other professionals to exchange scientific and technical information
•  Organise IAFS meetings every three years
