The pandemic has made for a long-awaited congress and we are so excited to finally be able to say WELCOME to the first face-to-face IPA event since our 2019 congress in Santiago de Compostela!!!! Although the IPA has been able to adapt to the use of new technologies, surely, most of you share the desire to meet in person with colleagues, discuss professional issues, create projects, and also, of course, enjoy sharing moments of relaxation. For this reason, the chosen congress theme is “New Perspectives in a Changing World: Social Connectedness, Aging, and Mental Health”. And as always, is a melting pot of disciplines, social and cultural perspectives that characterize IPA.
