2023 ATSU CME/CE Cruise: Primary Care Update is organized by A.T. Still University (ATSU) and will be held from Jan 14 - 22, 2023 at Royal Caribbean's Odyssey of the Seas, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States of America.
Activity Description:
This event will keep physicians up-to-date on the most current recommendations in the subspecialties in medicine that are important to the primary physician. This will be done through an extensive program that includes presentations, group discussions and Q&A discussions focusing on primary care doctors' gaps in their professional practice and our annual ATSU needs Assessment Survey.
Educational Goals:
After attending this didactic course Participants will be better able to:
• Discuss and review current treatments and diagnostics for common injuries and illnesses encountered in primary health care.
• Determine new evidence-based treatments with the most current scientific and clinical data that can lead to a reduction in the risk factors that are modifiable.
• Apply relevant new research for everyday encounters with patients.
• Utilize osteopathic health expertise to create and implement strategies that can overcome the barriers of clinicians and patients and improve health outcomes for patients.
