3D printed anatomical sinus and sella models with realistic tissue allowing all steps for a transsphenoidal and transella exposure, pituitary adenoma resection, CSF leak repair, ICA injury control and skull base reconstruction

22 stations in a purpose built state of the art dissection lab in the centre of Arelaid

Morning lectures covering topics:
• Anatomical basis for the transsphenoidal transsellar exposure
• Surgical technique for resection of pituitary adenomas
• Management of major vascular injury in endoscopic skull base surgery

Afternoon dissections focusing on:
• Optimising the sinonasal corridor using 2 surgeon-4 hand technique with a colleague
• Completing a transsphenoidal and transsellar exposure
• Resection of a pituitary adenoma
• Repair of CSF leak
• Management of major vascular injury
• Enhance the learning experience by repeating the scenario with multiple models each with different tumour consistencies
