Description:
Every year, the National Pancreas Foundation organizes a fellows symposium to provide fellows with an opportunity to gain insight and instruction from world-renowned pancreatic specialists. We are looking for medical professionals and scientists at the PhD level who have demonstrated an interest in pancreatic disease and are fellows, residents, or faculty in their first or second year of training.

Course Objectives:
• Discuss the the early detection of pancreatic cancer and surgical options.
• Describe the indications, treatments and complications of pancreatitis.
• Interpret the information about genes and their effects on the pancreas.
