OVERVIEW

15th European Summer School on Advance Proteomics is organized by Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS) and will be held from Jul 30 - Aug 05, 2023 at Novacella Abbey, Bolzano - bozen, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy.

Description:
Proteomics technologies have become an integral part of modern life science research.  It is an essential component of the systems biology view for the cell alongside the genome, transcriptome and metabolome levels. Furthermore, proteins are, by far, the most ‘reactive’ part of the cell as they execute and control many if not most biological processes. The advent of high-performance proteomics now makes it possible to study protein expression and regulation on a systems wide scale. The technological improvements made over the past decade have allowed the development of tools to interrogate not only the primary protein sequence but also their post-translational modifications, secondary, tertiary and quaternary structure. Advances in mass spectrometry and protein chemistry now allow measurement of all proteins and many of their modifications of a cell in a quantitative manner with temporal resolution.

Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
