Description:
The event will feature lectures, panel discussions, instructional sessions, and workshops, the scientific program for which has been planned to deliver structured and systematic instruction covering a comprehensive range of topics in most aspects of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

The three courses during the ‘11 Days of Facial Plastic Surgery are being held jointly under the auspices of PAAFPRS, European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS), Facial Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery India Trust (FRCSIT) and Society of Otolaryngology–Head And Neck Surgery Singapore (SOHNS). The courses offer an exceptional hands-on opportunity for Otolaryngology, Plastic Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Maxillofacial Surgery Residents, Fellows and Consultants alike to expand their knowledge and surgical skills in this fascinating area of surgical practice. The scientific program for the upcoming courses has been enhanced further by incorporating feedback from participants and faculty from previous courses.

The courses offer 8 days of dissection on high-quality fresh frozen cadavers in a well-equipped surgical skills laboratory. State-of-the-art surgical instruments, endoscopes, monitors, and implants will be made available to the delegates courtesy of our sponsors Storz and Johnson and Johnson. Participants in the previous courses have been very appreciative of the ample time available for dissection under the close supervision of our learned international and national faculty, which allowed them to learn a wide variety of surgical procedures at a relaxed pace. This year the program has been redesigned to allow even more time for surgical dissection.

The courses offer comprehensive instruction in basic science, practical anatomy, indications, and safe injection techniques to help the candidates acquire skills in the art and science of these non-surgical techniques for facial rejuvenation. The forthcoming Facial Fracture and Soft Tissue Reconstruction Course has also been revamped to include a section on Orthognathic surgery.
