10th Dilemmas & Debates in Colorectal Surgery Conference (DDCRS)

In spite of the challenges posed by the COVID-19 outbreak, we are proud to announce that we will be holding our 10th Dilemmas & Debates in Colorectal Surgery Conference (DDCRS) from 12-14th January 2023 as a physical event at Bush House, King's College London, WC2R 2LS.

The good news is that we intend to celebrate the 10th anniversary by holding a traditional conference that will last for three days. This conference will consist of lectures, discussions, and workshops addressing difficult situations, controversies, and problems in colorectal surgery, in addition to other topics likely to interest professionals working in various fields. The International Society of University Colon & Rectal Surgeons (ISUCRS), The Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain & Ireland (ACPGBI), and The Italian Society of Colorectal Surgeons will all be working together to put on the meeting (SICCR). There will be sessions entitled 'How I Do It/Live Surgery and the classic debate, 'Six of the Best' podium presentations as well as a corner for consultants that will feature "The Dream MDT," which will discuss difficult cases like the inflammatory bowel disease and colorectal cancer patients.

On Thursday, January 12, several workshops will be held that will be of great interest to surgical trainees and young colorectal experts. These workshops will take place. These workshops cover topics such as: 
1. Pelvic Floor Assessment - 3D US & HRM anophysiology, 
2. Workshop on complex abdominal wall reconstruction, 
3. Laparoscopic dry-lab skills training, and 
4. Haemorrhoid & Fistula workshop.
