Description:
The emphasis of the Congress program will be on a refresher course, discussions, lectures, and innovative presentations in epidemiology, pathophysiology, and treatment of arterial hypertension in both its primary and secondary manifestations. The metabolic interactions of hypertensive states, including obesity, diabetes, and metabolic syndrome, will receive much attention. Practical applications of the guidelines will also be addressed, as well as interventions that aim to improve blood pressure control in the general population. This year's edition will pay particular attention to the participation of young researchers who are members and will form the foundation for the future restart. The Company's Centers of Excellence, located throughout the country, will be considered. In addition, sessions on the relationship between COVID infection and arterial hypertension, drug therapy, and cardiovascular disease will be included in the scientific program. Sessions organized in collaboration with other scientific societies will also be considered, including the European Hypertension Society. This confirms the vital role of Society in both the national as well as international spheres.
