XXII National Congress IORS - Italian Orthopedic Research Society is organized by Ad Arte srl and will be held from Jun 10 - 11, 2022 at Codivilla-Putti Research Center, Bologna, Emilia-Romagna, Italy.

Overview:
The XXII IORS Congress will take place at the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute IRCCS, at the Codivilla-Putti Research Center Congress Center, and will be dedicated to the theme of "Research and Innovation for Orthopedics".

Following the principles that have always animated the Company - research, development, updating, training - we intend to organize a scientific meeting that favors innovative aspects, deriving from clinical or basic research in the sectors of Orthopedics and Traumatology and related specialist disciplines . The conference will be divided into three symposia, of half a day each, dedicated to
• Orthopedics (medical and surgical)
• Orthopedic oncology
• Vertebral surgery 

Each symposium will be structured in such a way as to offer an overview of the recent acquisitions in the field of pathophysiology of diseases of the musculoskeletal system and the state of translational research in orthopedics, also through the presentation of the results of clinical studies from the most important Italian orthopedic schools. For each of the topics mentioned above, two sessions are planned in which lecture (s) and oral communications on representative aspects of clinical and pre-clinical research will be listened to.
The intention is to stimulate, through the scientific reports of different groups, a confrontation between researchers who in the laboratories develop new knowledge and new technologies, and clinicians who in the ward or in the operating room have to face the patient's expectations every day. Each session will end with a summary of “highlights”, that is, the strengths, criticalities and opportunities that exist for each of the issues addressed.
In developing the themes of the congress, we will try to bring attention to technology transfer and the financing of scientific research, highly topical issues that affect research in the health sector.
