Conference Objectives:
• Learn about the Age-Friendly Health System and identify the six factors that determine gait. Make appropriate treatment decisions for blood sugar and blood pressure. ?
• Identify the types of neglect that may be occurring, particularly for LGBTQ+ residents and/or patients in long-term care.
• Keep up-to-date on polypharmacy and apply evidence-based guidelines to your practice, including the accurate staging of pressure injuries.
• Recognize the outlook for patients with varying stages of dementia, explain instances of interprofessional educational initiatives, learn about the medical conditions and treatments used to treat older people in other nations, and become familiar with various billing and coding techniques.
