Sports Medicine Course 2022

Sports Medicine Course is organized by Continuing Education, Inc. and will be held from Sep 01 - 08, 2022 at Royal Caribbean's Wonder of the Seas, Rome, Italy.

Program Purpose:
This activity is designed to enhance the comprehension of the learner regarding the subject of sports medicine. We will discuss musculoskeletal concerns in order to increase the level of comfort when handling common issues for athletes and weekend athletes. We will discuss important topics like the identification of, evaluation, and treatment of concussions, as well as how to bring sports physical activity a rewarding interaction. Medical professionals who attend these seminars are able to identify and manage concerns for young athletes as well as active adults.
Subjects of Sports Medicine:
The stress fractures of athletes are: identifying high vs. low-risk fracture
• Ankle sprains, mimics for the foot, ankle and heel.
• A systematic approach to the assessment of shoulder injuries sustained in sports.
• Initial assessment and treatment of concussions from sports
• Concussion part II post concussion syndrome, complications studies
• Finger, hand wrist injuries in athletes (includes splinting as opposed to. the surgical method)
• The pre-participation sports physical is a valuable exercise for athletes, parents and medical professionals
• Exercise-induced vocal cord and asthma in the direction of athletes who experience breathing problems or chronic fatigue
• The assessment and treatment of injuries to the knees of athletes in young athletes as well as adults
