OVERVIEW

CRI-ENCI-AACR Sixth International Cancer Immunotherapy Conference is organized by Cancer Research Institute (CRI), European Network for Cancer Immunotherapy (ENCI) and will be held from Sep 28 - Oct 01, 2022, at New York Hilton Midtown, New York, United States of America.

Statement of Educational Need, Target Audience, and Learning Objectives:
In the United States, an estimated 1.9 million cases of cancer will be diagnosed by 2022, and 609 360 people will die.

(1) We need to continue to find new therapies and strategies to improve the quality and survival of patients. Immunotherapy, which uses the body's natural defences to combat cancer, is a promising area. Scientists are developing new therapeutic strategies to harness immune system power to target cancer cells and counter immunosuppressive signals. This will improve the chances of complete remission.

(2). Researchers are working in the area of targeted and combination therapies to discover how to predict a person's response to treatment. Many types of cancer can be fought with monoclonal, bispecific antibodies and checkpoint inhibitors.

(3). (3). Adoptive cell therapy continues to gain traction. Chimeric antigen receptor-modified T cells have shown clinical success in hematopoietic malignancies. This includes the FDA's first approvals of cell therapies for cancer treatment.

(4). To treat and prevent certain types of cancer, vaccines against tumour antigens are being developed.

(5). It is crucial to understand how tumour cells interact with their environment in order to improve the prognosis and outcomes of future therapies.

(6). Importantly, personalized and precision medicine is becoming more common. Researchers and doctors can use imaging and artificial intelligence to analyze single cells, find biomarkers and monitor response to help more patients faster.

(7). These and other technologies have significantly improved our understanding of immune surveillance, which has greatly contributed to the development of novel immunotherapies.
