Seventh Bergamo Open Rhinoplasty Course

The 7th Bergamo Open Rhinoplasty Course is sponsored by MZ Congressi and the conference will take place March 24-26, 2022 at Centro Congressgi Giovanni XXIII in Bergamo, Lombardy, Italy.

Who should attend:

The program is designed to benefit surgeons of different specialties (Plastic, ENT, Maxillofacial) who wish to improve their skills in rhinoplasty, regardless of their level of experience. Both beginners and seasoned rhinoplasty specialists will benefit from the customizable program and the different educational tracks.  Taking part in advanced master classes should only be reserved for experienced rhinoplasty surgeons. After attending the meeting, the attendee should have the tools to perform open primary and secondary rhinoseptoplasty successfully.

Objectives:

After attending the course, participants should be able to:

• Complete knowledge of nasal anatomy, including ligaments and planes of dissection in relation to rhinoplasty

• Analyze frequently occurring nasal deformities and less common ones before surgery

• Create an appropriate pre-surgical plan to ensure predictable and consistent outcome

• Based on their prior experience level, they will be able to perform all the basic steps required for open rhinoplasty, as well as a number of current techniques and modifications.

• Choose reproducible, predictable, and appropriate algorithms for specific rhinoplasty problems

• Learn the latest related techniques including osteotomy/osteoplasty concepts to improve results in tip and dorsum surgery

• Learn the indications, concepts, and techniques of "Preservation Rhinoplasty"

• Learn about the advantages and complications of "Preservation Rhinoplasty" compared to "Structural Rhinoplasty".

• Learn about the benefits of new rhinoplasty instruments, such as power tools and piezoelectric instruments

• Understanding, recognizing, and treating functional issues in rhinoplasty

• Identify, prevent, recognize, and correct complications in rhinoplasty

• Describe and understand current techniques of secondary rhinoplasty, including the use of fascia and rib grafting, and innovative current modifications

• Know and apply the proper indications and techniques of medical rhinoplasty
