Pediatric Potpourri® (PP): State of the Art 2022

Children's Hospital Los Angeles Medical Group (CHLAMG) will organize the Pediatric Potpourri®: State of the Art 2021 at Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa, Maui, Hawaii, United States of America.

This conference will be held from February 26th to March 4th of 2022

Course Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity participants will be able to identify, assess and manage common clinical issues in the areas of dermatology, infectious diseases, ophthalmology, urology, and adolescent medicine including:
• Discern which types of infantile hemangiomas should be considered for therapy based on risk for disfigurement or associated complications.
• Develop rational strategies for empiric use of antimicrobials
• Identify the current therapeutic options to slow the progression of myopia.
• Recognize clinical findings suggestive of hypospadias or other abnormalities.
• List actions clinicians, parents and communities can take to decrease teen usage of e-cigarettes and vaping.
The overall learning need identified for this conference is for practical, evidence-based medicine that can be applied in the clinical setting.
