Description:
Every patient who receives dental sleep medicine embarks on a journey. Dentists and the people on their team need to be able to guide each patient through this process.

The journey of a typical sleep apnea patient will be followed in this course from beginning to end. Finding, evaluating, and diagnosing our patients with obstructive sleep apnea is the first step. An oral appliance must be chosen, made, and supplied to patients after they have been diagnosed. This also covers how to handle any aftercare issues and steer clear of dental appliance-related problems. The training will also cover how to bill for oral appliances and how to expand dental sleep medicine in your practice. It will also cover the business aspects of dental sleep medicine.

Participants Will Learn:
•The basics of Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
• How to screen and diagnose a patient.
• How to select, fabricate and mitigate complications with oral appliance therapy.
• Dental sleep medicine's commercial facets. Among other things, medical billing and how to build a dental sleep medicine practice by cultivating connections in the medical industry.
