It is our pleasure and honor to invite you to attend the 17th BANTAO (The Balkan Cities Association of Nephrology, Dialysis, Transplantation and Artificial Organs) Congress. The Congress will be held in Antalya-Turkey from November 10th to 13th in conjunction with the 39th Annual Congress of the Turkish Society of Nephrology.

BANTAM Congresses are a feast for nephrologists living in Balkan Cities, where they share information and interact with colleagues from the Balkans and elsewhere. The Scientific Committee of the Congress pays great attention to including the most up-to-date topics in the various fields of Nephrology in the Congress Program. The scientific program of the 17th BANTAO Congress will be enriched by the “Nephrogenetics” CME Course supported by ERA (European Renal Association) and the “Immunologic Kidney Diseases” CME Course supported by ISN (International Society of Nephrology). The invited speakers from Balkan Cities, distinguished experts coming for ERA and ISN-supported CME Courses, and speakers from Turkey will create a great atmosphere for education and progression in the field of Nephrology. The attendees will not only have a great chance to listen, meet and interact with world-renowned speakers, but also have a chance to see and greet their friends and colleagues in this face-to-face meeting after the long Covid pandemic. The Congress will obviously make a great contribution to the education of the attendees and the progression of scientific interactions between colleagues in the Balkans.

This congress will also give you the chance to see and visit Antalya, one of the most beautiful cities on the Mediterranean coast. With its history dating back to 133 BC, Antalya has not only natural beauties or wide beaches, but also historical sites that have hosted to the Pergamon Kingdom, and the Byzantine and Roman Empires. We recommend you to see the ancient cities of Perge, Phaselis, Olympos and Myra, Apollon Temple, Aspendos Theatre, Düden and Kur?unlu Waterfalls, Yivli Minaret, International Tourism Award-winning Kaleiçi and the historical houses overlooking the Adrian's Gate and the Mediterranean Sea.
