Description:
The IIRM has partnered with World Athletics to provide endurance medicine conferences–live and virtual–with goals to increase knowledge of basic sports medicine principals including the clinical aspects of sports injury and physical activity, improve the medical knowledge and clinical skills of individuals volunteering in medical tents at endurance events, and facilitate interdisciplinary communication to enhance delivery of care at athletic endurance events. Our recent activities also provide guidance to individuals seeking information on how to safely return to and manage events during the COVID-19 pandemic.
