Full Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) Certification is organized by Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy and will be held from Oct 29 - Nov 06, 2022, at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center, Round Rock, Texas, United States of America.

Course Objectives:
Every learner will acquire knowledge in all four aspects of complete decongestive therapy. When the course is over, the therapist will be able to identify between a range of peripheral edemas as well as grasp the applications, medical indications, and contraindications of MLD and CDT. In addition, the therapist will be able to recognize the contraindications of MLD and CDT. In addition to this, the therapist will be able to devise a CDT therapy plan for patients suffering from primary or secondary lymphedema as well as carry out the treatment that is prescribed.

• The anatomy and physiological principles and the pathophysiology of lymphatic systems basic procedures and sequences for manual lymph drainage (Vodder technique)
• Contraindications and indications of manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) as well as Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT)
• Differential diagnosis
• Treatment of secondary and primary lymphedema
• Lyedema bandaging techniques are available for the lower and upper extremities.
• Remedial lymphedema exercises
• Hygienic nail and skin treatment to treat lymphedema
• Measuring, fitting, and adjusting methods for support garments for lymphedema
• Evaluation of patient as well as weekly measurements (circumference and volume)
