Diagnostic Pathology Of Core Needle And Vacuum-assisted Biopsies Of The Breast is organized by Vincent Academy of Pathology (VAP) and will be held from Nov 23 - 25, 2022 at Lentos Art Museum Linz, Linz, Upper Austria, Austria.
Objectives Topics:
• In the course, participants will examine more than 60 cases dealing with core needles and vacuum-assisted biopsies from malignant and benign breast tumours and lesions that resemble tumours.
• A range of diagnostic issues like papillary neoplasms and proliferative intraductal lesions, variations of lobular and ductal intraepithelial tumours, and carcinomas infiltrating are covered. Examples of adenosis with pseudo evasion and benign complex sclerosing lesion-mimicking cancers are also included.
• A variety of instances that fall within "B-3 categories" (lesions with unclear malignant potential), including "flat epithelial atypia", intraepithelial lobular neoplasia, the radial scar type of lesions and (complex) papillary Neoplasms, will be discussed extensively.
•Participants will be allowed to look over the digitized cases (virtual microscopy) 4 weeks before and four weeks following the course.
Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
