Course for supervisors and ST doctors in Occupational Medicine / Occupational and Environmental Medicine is organized by Swedish Society of Occupational Medicine / Svenska foretagslakarforeningen (SFLF) and will be held from May 16 - 17, 2022 at Swedish Medical Association, Stockholm, Sodermanland, Sweden.

Description:
This course is needed to ensure an equivalent supervision situation for ST in Occupational Medicine / Occupational and Environmental Medicine, given that the supervisors often have their specialist competence according to older regulations and that the trainees come from different clinical specialties.

The course takes into account both the regulation 2015: 8 and the changes that the regulation 2021: 8 will entail.

The course reviews the requirements of the ST regulation with regard to different responsibilities, intermediate goal content, methods for follow-up and assessment, communication and the pedagogy of supervision. It is open to new supervisors in the area as well as previously active supervisors who wish to update themselves regarding the goal descriptions and regulations.

It is an advantage that the supervisor and the adept take the course together.

Overall goals:
That ST can be completed where supervisors and adepts together design the training program and are familiar with methods for assessment and an ethical approach.
