2022 Canadian Surgery Forum (CSF) is organized by the Canadian Surgery Forum (CSF) and will be held from Sep 15 - 17, 2022 at Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Conference Overview:
Although CAGS has been hosting an annual gathering from 1977 onwards, it wasn't until 2001 at Quebec City, that the Canadian Surgery Forum (CSF) was established. The major participating societies for surgery; CAGS, CSCRS, CATS, CSSO, CHPBA, and CHS, and the minor participant societies, TAC and CON/CABPS work together to host the largest surgical conference in Canada. It is known as the Canadian Surgery Forum and has become the top surgery gathering within Canada that allows general surgeons. They gather to discuss their experiences and develop new ways to improve the surgical needs of their societies.
The Conference Objective:
To facilitate communication between surgeons and surgical subspecialties, to facilitate the development of professional skills as well as education, clinical practice research, and public advocacy as well as provide those members of the Canadian surgical community the chance to connect and socialize in the spirit of collaboration.
Conference Goals:
"Learn": teach participants through quality and collaborative sessions, such as interactive symposiums panels and postgraduate classes, debates, plenary videos, and roundtables and drinks with the professor.
• Grow to offer surgical societies an accredited continuing professional development program and the chance to engage in discussion on research and educational questions.
• Network: Connect residents and surgeons as well as expand possible networks of interest, as well as let loose with special social events like The Suturing Competition, Surgical Robotics Competition along with the CSF Soiree.
