As COVID-19 has highlighted, community health centers (CHCs) have been uniquely placed to tackle health disparities based on race since they are part of the communities they serve and are the most trusted source of healthcare for all who enter their doors. This annual event celebrates and advocates for "healthcare for everyone," which is more crucial in light of COVID-19 along with the social injustices that plague communities of people of color. CPCA offers this educational and inspiring program for our members and partners to allow attendees to get to know one another better and celebrate the people who have played a pivotal role during the year in addressing grave health concerns that confront the underserved and uninsured in California.
