The California Orthopaedic Association (COA) (COA) 2022 Annual Meeting/QME Course will be place from April 07 to 10, 2022 at Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa in Palm Springs, California, United States of America, is organized by California Orthopaedic Association (COA)
Target Audience:
Hand Procedures, Sports Medicine Injuries, Reverse Shoulder Arthroplasty, Foot and Ankle Procedures, Total Hip and Knee Arthroplasty, Biologics, and Pain Management Protocols are all covered in this curriculum, which is geared for general orthopaedic surgeons.
The QME training will provide physicians with information on the introduction of the 2021 Medical-Legal Fee Schedule as well as new case laws that QMEs and AMEs must consider in their assessments. The workshop is also open to orthopedic practice managers, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners.
Educational Objectives:
• Be able to use recent developments in hand and sports medicine, shoulder, hip, and knee arthroplasty, foot and ankle procedures, biologics, and pain management protocols.
• Learn about the various practice settings and the advantages and disadvantages of each.
• Orthopaedic surgeons and their patients are affected by federal and state legislation.
• Recognize the impact of unconscious bias on patient care.
• Provide orthopaedic surgeons with information about how to maintain patient safety in the outpatient setting.
