Speakers will include specialists in spotting and countering false and misleading information in the field of public health, government and community programs to foster trust among diverse communities, and methods for productive dialogue with decision-makers and other stakeholders.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of NIAID, will give a keynote speech to open the gathering on Friday morning. You can hear from "Your Local Epidemiologist" if you stay over the weekend. Genetic epidemiologist and scientific communicator Dr. Katelyn Jetelina Dr. Patrick Sullivan, the Annals of Epidemiology's editor-in-chief, Dr. Bertha Hidalgo, and numerous others!  

Among the topics that will be discussed this year are: “Pandemic of Misinformation: Building Trust in Epidemiology.”
