Advanced Cervical Plus Shoulder Ultrasound Bio-Skills Lab is organized by the Spine Intervention Society (SIS) and will be held from Aug 06 - 07, 2022 at Science Care, Inc., Aurora, Colorado, United States of America.
Who May Attend:
The registration can be done by Spine Intervention Society members who are board-certified or undergoing the certification process to be certified in the fields of Anesthesiology and the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Radiology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, or Orthopedic Surgery.
The members who are not board certified or qualified to be certified in these specialties must either have completed or are currently engaged in a fellowship in pain recognized through the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) The Pain, or recognized by the NASS, MSK/Spine Fellowship Program, and start their training with SIS using The Lumbar Bio-Skills Lab.
Educational Goals:
After participating in this course, student will be better able to:
• Study the images of your anatomy.
• Compare the patient's history of the patient and their physical exam findings to imaging results to make an accurate diagnosis of disc pathology that causes the patient's discomfort or dysfunction.
Please describe the research evidence to prove the efficacy of techniques;
• Identify the benefits and risks for each treatment, along with evaluation, prevention, and treatment for potential complications;
• Perform the technically correct execution of spinal procedures by using safe fluoroscopic guidance, with no discomfort or tissue damage.
