32nd Annual Baltimore Limb Deformity Course is organized by Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Society (LLRS) and will be held from Aug 24 - 28, 2022 at Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland, United States of America.
Course Objectives:
Address fundamental and sophisticated ideas in limb alignment, corrective osteotomies, and internal and external fixation for limb restoration, including lengthening and realignment.
Topics to be covered:
• Deformities of the tibia and femur on both the single-level and double-level
• Sagittal and oblique plane deformities
• Rotational deformities
• Foot and ankle deformities
• Monolateral/circular external fixation
• Acute correction techniques
• Gait essences for angular and rotational deformities
• Measurement of deformity on digital radiographs
• Consequences of joint malorientation and malalignment
• Limb lengthening techniques
In order to complete this enlightening event, participants will be better able to:
• Describe simple and complex lower limb deformities in pediatric and adult patients
• Interpret advances in the field of limb reconstruction and deformity correction
• Identify the optimal location of osteotomies
• Understand the internal and exterior fixing techniques that are less invasive
• Analyze deformities of the lower limb using electronic media technology
