31st International Course in Advanced Rhinoplasty Techniques is organized by The European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS) and will be held from Oct 26 - 28, 2022 at UMC Utrecht (University Medical Center Utrecht), Utrecht, Utrecht, Netherlands.

Like previous years, this unique course will demonstrate world-renowned surgeons specializing in nasal plastic and rhinoplasty skills and knowledge. This course is designed to continue medical education for residents, doctors, fellows, and other practicing physicians. The faculty of multidisciplinary international standing will guide participants through consultation to manage the most complicated surgical rhinoplasty and facial cosmetic procedures. The process will be completed with informative seminars, expert panels, live surgical procedures, and a hands-on fresh frozen cadaver dissection laboratory.
Learning Goals:
The course is designed to provide students with an extensive review of the anatomy of surgery and methods for functional and surgical rhinoplasty that is esthetic. Experienced surgeons can improve their knowledge of the finer details of esthetic rhinoplasties. In contrast, less experienced surgeons will be able to be taught and apply the basic techniques of nasal surgery.
The goal of the course is to provide in-depth instruction and practical (fresh frozen dissection of a cadaver) the latest rhinoplasty techniques to you via:
• The basic approaches include delivery, non-delivery, and an external approach.
• The nasal septum Septal deviations and septal perforation.
• Grafts used in nasal surgery, Harvesting techniques, or composite grafts.
• The nasal dorsum preservation and Hump resection regulate the deviated dorsum, and dorsal augmentation techniques shape the nasal bones using cold steel or powered instruments.
• TIP grafts: tips suture techniques to control rotation and projection.
• Ala is an alar insufficiency. Alar base surgery and alar-columellar connection.
• Guidelines for the rhinoplasty procedure for children.
• Revision surgery.
• The patient has a cleft lip.
• Ethnic rhinoplasties.
• Reconstruction of the nasal area and flaps of skin.
