2nd Global Summit of IAPD: Care Pathways for Caries Management in Children: Global Initiative is organized by International Association of Paediatric Dentistry (IAPD), Paragon Group and will be held from Nov 11 - 13, 2022 at Sheraton Parco de 'Medici Rome Hotel, Rome, Rome, Italy.

The purpose of this summit is to bring together leading scientists (researchers and clinicians) from around the globe to discuss Dental Caries Management. The traditional global approaches to the treatment of dental caries have focused on repairing the consequences of caries rather than addressing the disease itself. Advances in caries microbiology, caries detection, risk assessment, pulp therapy, and non-surgical and surgical management are fundamentally shifting the standards of caries management. To facilitate the global adoption of evidence-based caries management, international dental caries experts will consider the broad perspective on how different cultures, developed/developing countries, and child behaviors may affect the teaching and implementation of caries risk assessment, caries detection, and thresholds for treatment. Care pathways showing the strengths of evidence for preventive strategies, remineralization, caries arrest, minimally invasive care, and surgical care will be examined.

Highlights of the Meeting:
• Learn directly from internationally renowned experts about the exciting changes occurring within dentistry.
• Discuss with experts the latest information on research that is helping clinicians manage caries in children.
• Update your knowledge about the new evidence-based approach to caries management and contribute to the IAPD’s goal to improve prevention and care for children.
• Get acquainted with the newest and innovative products for the management of caries, including prevention and treatment.

Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
