21st Annual Early Hearing Detection & Intervention (EHDI) Conference is organized by National Center for Hearing Assessment and Management (NCHAM), American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), Hands & Voices (H&V) and will be held from Mar 13 - 15, 2022 at Hyatt Regency Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio, United States of America.

Who Should Attend:
Since 2002, the National Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) Conference has provided key stakeholders an opportunity to identify areas of concern, promote collaboration, and share best practices. Join with other professionals and parents intent on improving early hearing screening, diagnosis, and intervention systems for infants/young children and their families. The 2022 EHDI Conference content will be relevant to:
• State EHDI program staff members
• Audiologists
• Physicians and other Health Care Providers
• Families of children with hearing loss
• Early Intervention Specialists
• Speech-Language Pathologists
• Advocates
• Representatives from the major organizations working with EHDI programs
• Students

Goal:
The goal of the annual EHDI Conference is to enhance the implementation of comprehensive state-based Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) programs. After participating in the conference, participants will be better able to:
• Identify and promote knowledge and awareness of successful strategies for implementing comprehensive state-based EHDI programs that include screening, audiologic diagnostic evaluation, early intervention, medical home, reporting, tracking, surveillance, loss to follow-up issues, data integration, and other related surveillance components.
• Interpret and describe current research and research methods related to EHDI.
• Examine cultural competence of providers and assess their ability to work with children who are deaf or hard of hearing, their families, and communities.
• Discuss the importance of enhancing and creating new and ongoing working relationships among federal agencies, non-profit organizations, state health departments and educational agencies, advocacy groups, families, and professionals.
