2022 Dermoscopy Intermediate Course is organized by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) and will be held from Oct 07 - 08, 2022 at Mortimer B. Zuckerman Research Center, New York City, New York, United States of America.
Overview
Dermoscopy allows the observer to see skin structures below the stratum corneum, which are not visible to the naked eye. Dermoscopy allows for the visualization of skin morphology, which can be used to increase clinical diagnostic accuracy and specificity in the detection of cutaneous malignancies.
Objectives:
• To outline a logical, easy-to-follow framework to evaluate cutaneous lesions using dermoscopic techniques.
• Identify both non-melanocytic as well as melanocytic features.
• Discuss a management strategy based on dermoscopic findings to identify lesions that require biopsy.
