Description:
The 10th Annual Fall Conference is for nurses and medical professionals who work with the most vulnerable infants. This course will provide the most recent evidence-based advances in neonatal care, and give you strategies and skills for implementation in your practice. This course will provide attendees with the tools and techniques necessary to deliver optimal patient care. This educational activity will increase the competence and performance of all participants as well as your ability to collaborate as part of a coordinated health care team.
The conference topics were selected according to the education needs that underlie identified gaps in professional practice. These gaps were derived using a variety of sources, including past participant evaluations and results data, Symposia Medicus online survey and medical and nursing data like current clinical guidelines, research findings and literature reviews.
This conference has a stellar faculty. Each faculty member was chosen based on their specific area of expertise and ability communicate current, evidence-based and practical information to participants.
The conference format includes didactic lectures and question and answer sessions as well as case studies and small group breakouts. After a series of lectures, attendees can ask challenging and critical questions to the faculty about care for neonatal patients in various situations.
Breakout sessions are designed to encourage greater interaction between faculty members and participants. They offer the opportunity for group discussion on topics relevant to your area of interest.
