ZFA for Pediatric Dentistry (ZFKiZ) 2nd module

ZFA for Pediatric Dentistry (ZFKiZ) 2nd module is organized by German Society for Pediatric Dentistry eV / Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Kinderzahnheilkunde e.V. (DGKiZ) and will be held from May 07 - 08, 2021 at Kleinhuis Hotel Baseler Hof Hamburg, Hamburg, Germany.

Description: 
Since autumn 2014, the DGKiZ has been offering additional training for female employees, which is specifically geared to the requirements of the dental treatment of children and adolescents. The advanced training consists of three modules in which the basics of pediatric dentistry, prophylaxis, practice organization and behavioral management are trained. When it comes to treating children, the demands placed on the assistant are particularly high - they have to be technically fit, calm fidgeting or anxious children and ensure that both the little patients and the parents feel that they are in good hands in the practice. For a successful children's dental treatment, not only the practitioner but also the employee should be trained accordingly.

The course is aimed at dental assistants from children's dental practices, but also from family practices. The third course block (behavioral leadership and child hypnosis) is recommended as a team course, because "successful behavioral leadership only works in a team".
This module can therefore also be booked for the dentist and / or another employee from the practice. At the same time, you can be present at the certificate handover this weekend, which will add to the significance of this event for your employee.

The advanced training "ZFA for Pediatric Dentistry" can only be booked as a complete package (all 3 modules). The prerequisite for the certificate for "ZFA for Pediatric Dentistry" is participation in all three course sections and the passing of a written test that takes place on the Friday morning of the last appointment and covers the learning content of modules 1 and 2.
After successfully participating in the course, the participant receives a certificate for "ZFA for Pediatric Dentistry" from the DGKiZ.

• First contact on the phone
• Registration and information forms
• sensible practice equipment
• Overview of modern treatment methods in primary and mixed dentition (filling therapy, endodontics, children's crowns, [nbsp] gap holders, simple KfO measures)
• Documentation of child treatment
• Special materials and instruments for children's dentistry
• Recall system, bonus booklet

Assistance in children's dentistry
• Assistance at the treatment chair (including preparation of the treatment, suction technology for the child, assistance with local anesthesia)
• Nitrous oxide treatment: assistance, documentation, equipment maintenance
• Assistance with the ITN renovation
• X-ray in children, legal basics
• Children with acute anterior tooth trauma
